My name is Katie Emslie. I am a wife to Papa Bear and a mother to Baby Bear :). We are a young family who's hearts are focused on our Creator. We are "big picture" kind of people who also delight in the simplicities of life!
I am aspring to become a graphic designer/christian counselor/speech pathologist. Having applied to several art schools across the country, I have been able to narrow down my "school pool" to three schools: Academy of Art University, Liberty University Online, and University of Georgia. I would pursue graphic design at Academy of Art University, christian counseling at Liberty University, and speech pathology at University of Georgia.
If you are a mother thinking about going back to school, I would HIGHLY recommend checking into online options! The best online program I have found is Liberty University Online. They offer a 16 week semester that is broken into 8 week sessions. They are great at getting back to you with information very quickly!
Because of my indecisive and very busy life, I feel that God has whispered "Be Still". So that is exactly what I will be doing for my next semester in life. Because of amazing support from my mother, husband, and a wise counsel of friends, I will be able to devote January 2013-May 2013 to being a stay at home mom! I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity!
