How it all started

In June 2012, I married the love of my life! Before the wedding, I decided that I wanted to save money by designing our wedding invitations and having them printed ourselves. It was this charter into unfamiliar waters that sparked in me a passion for graphic design!

As my desire grew to be a stay at home mom, the idea of designing stationery from my home became more and more appealing! With the launch of my Facebook Page & Etsy Shop in October 2012, I embarked on a design led journey.In hopes of this small town business growing into bigger shoes, I created this blog. My hope is to continually enrich peoples lives by sharing my experiences and walks with God!

"The Art Of Being You" Name:

The name of this business came from a book by The Art of Being You: How to Live as God's Masterpiece by Bob and Joel Killpatrick. This book describes the human life through God The Artist's eyes. We are not mathematically crunched problems that God is always trying to fix. We are art. God is our creator. Let me give you a few examples from the book of MATH vs. ART:
